MT. VERNON, GA
This year has started off with a bang! We had 4 warriors on a great hunt in Mt Vernon, GA again this year. Our 3rd annual hunt at Anderson Farms brought in 3 doe deer, too many quail to count, and a bunch of wood ducks to boot. Thanks to Darren Anderson, Glenn Chappolear of Sportsman’s Outreach, Louie Thompson, Buzz Rowland, and Drew Gordon, our soldiers had an awesome time in some of the prettiest woods God put in the great state of Georgia!
COPIAH COUNTY, MS
Our First Annual Copiah County (MS) Baptist Association Deer hunt was an awesome weekend! We hosted 15 warriors from all over the country. The weather was unseasonably warm, but we had a great hunt with 6 does, 1 5 point buck, and 32 squirrels killed by our veterans. A Big buck was shot and not recovered.😢😢 The event was held at the Masters House that is located on the outskirts of Hazlehurst, MS. What a nice facility to house our bunch for the weekend. I believe there were 17 local churches that provided everything that was needed for this great time in God's Great Outdoors! Thank you Stan Weatherford, Med and Kim Palmer, and all their team that made this time of relaxation for our heroes possible.
